The dress code for jury duty is business casual; shorts and tank tops are not appropriate.
Uniforms are not permitted. Uniforms include, but are not limited to: peace officers, firefighters, military, security, Department of Corrections, nursing scrubs, EMTs, or any other easily recognized uniform. All restrooms in the Superior Court complexes are accessible to physically challenged jurors. Entrances to all court locations have ramps nearby. The courthouse is a nonsmoking environment.
The downtown Phoenix Jury Assembly Room is equipped with WiFi access. Handouts are available at the front desk indicating the unsecured network and log-in information. We hope this helps make your jury service experience with us even more positive.
In the Downtown and Southeast Superior Court locations, jurors can expect to find food, snack, and drink vending machines, and other various food venues.
A Mother's Room is also available for lactating mothers at all of the Superior Court locations.
Jurors have at least one hour for lunch. There are many eating establishments within easy walking distance of the downtown Phoenix complex. Jurors may also bring a lunch. If you do bring a lunch, please be aware that microwaves are available but you will not have access to a fridge.
Breaks are announced throughout the day.
State law prohibits an employer from discharging or discriminating against an employee for taking time to serve as a juror if the employee gives reasonable notice prior to serving. For more information on juror compensation, please visit the juror compensation page.
Jurors are to report to the Jury Assembly Room with their summons or deferral card. Once selected, jurors go directly to the courtroom.

If you failed to appear on the date summoned, write to the Jury Office explaining the situation and include your Jury ID number. The address is 175 W. Madison St., Phoenix 85003. You should receive a response within two weeks of receipt.
